*Message of the Hon’ble Speaker National Assembly of Pakistan, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, on the 77th National Day of the People’s Republic of China*

 

"On behalf of the National Assembly and the people of Pakistan, I extend my heartfelt felicitations to H.E. Mr. Zhao Leji, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China, the Chinese leadership and the brotherly people of China on the joyous occasion of the 77th National Day.

 

China’s remarkable journey of development, modernization and progress stands as a testament to the determination, resilience and collective efforts of its people.

 

Pakistan and China enjoy a unique and enduring friendship, rooted in mutual trust, respect, shared aspirations and steadfast support for each other. This year is particularly significant as Pakistan and China are commemorating the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, reaffirming the depth and continuity of the bonds between our two countries. The relationship has evolved into an All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership, encompassing political, economic, parliamentary, defence, technological and people-to-people cooperation.

 

The National Assembly of Pakistan attaches great importance to parliamentary diplomacy and remains committed to further strengthening institutional and legislative cooperation with the National People’s Congress of China. The Pakistan-China Parliamentary Friendship  Group (PFG) continues to serve as an important platform for promoting parliamentary exchanges and deepening institutional ties between the two countries. I also appreciate the constructive role of H.E. Mr. Jiang Zaidong, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Pakistan, in fostering closer relations and greater understanding between our two countries. My visit to China earlier this year further reinforced my conviction that enhanced parliamentary exchanges can contribute significantly to deepening mutual understanding and advancing our shared objectives.

 

I am confident that the Pakistan-China friendship will continue to grow from strength to strength, opening new avenues of cooperation and contributing to peace, stability, development and prosperity in both countries and across the region.

 

I once again extend my warmest wishes to President Xi Jinping, Chairman Zhao Leji, the Chinese leadership and the brotherly people of China on their 77th National Day. May the People’s Republic of China continue to progress and prosper, and may the bonds of friendship and cooperation between Pakistan and China grow ever stronger".

 

 

چین کے 77ویں قومی دن پر اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی سردار ایاز صادق کا پیغام

 

اسلام آباد، یکم اکتوبر 2026ء: اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی سردار ایاز صادق نے چین کے 77ویں قومی دن کے موقع پر چینی قیادت، نیشنل پیپلز کانگریس اور عوام کو دلی مبارکباد پیش کرتے ہوئے چینی عوام کی ثابت قدمی اور اتحاد کو خراجِ تحسین پیش کیا۔

 

اپنے پیغام میں اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی نے کہا کہ چینی صدر شی جن پنگ کی قیادت میں چین کی ترقی دنیا کے لیے ایک مثال ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ پاکستان اور چین کے درمیان دوستی باہمی اعتماد، احترام اور مشترکہ مفادات پر مبنی ہے جو ہر گزرتے دن کے ساتھ مضبوط سے مضبوط تر ہو رہی ہے، جبکہ دونوں ممالک کے عوام کے دل ایک ساتھ دھڑکتے ہیں۔

 

انہوں نے کہا کہ 2026ء پاک چین سفارتی تعلقات کے قیام کی 75ویں سالگرہ کا تاریخی سال ہے، جو دونوں ممالک کے درمیان غیر معمولی اور مثالی دوستی کی پائیداری کی عکاسی کرتا ہے۔ پاکستان اس تاریخی شراکت داری کو مزید مستحکم کرنے اور باہمی تعاون کے نئے امکانات پیدا کرنے کے لیے پرعزم ہے۔

 

اسپیکر سردار ایاز صادق نے کہا کہ پاکستان اور چین کے درمیان اسٹریٹجک تعاون پر مبنی شراکت داری خطے میں امن، ترقی اور خوشحالی کے فروغ میں اہم کردار ادا کر رہی ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ چین پاکستان اقتصادی راہداری (CPEC) پاک چین معاشی تعاون کا اہم منصوبہ ہے جو دونوں ممالک کے درمیان معاشی و تجارتی روابط کے فروغ میں کلیدی کردار ادا کر رہا ہے۔

 

اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی نے کہا کہ پاک چین تعلقات پاکستان کی خارجہ پالیسی کا بنیادی ستون ہیں اور پاکستان کو چین کے ساتھ اپنی مثالی دوستی پر فخر ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ دونوں ممالک کے درمیان پارلیمانی رابطوں کا فروغ باہمی دوستی کو مزید مستحکم کرنے اور نئے شعبوں میں تعاون کو فروغ دینے میں اہم کردار ادا کر سکتا ہے۔

 

انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ قومی اسمبلی پاکستان، نیشنل پیپلز کانگریس چین کے ساتھ پارلیمانی تعاون کو مزید مستحکم بنانے کے لیے پُرعزم ہے۔ انہوں نے اس امید کا اظہار کیا کہ دونوں ممالک کے درمیان مضبوط عوامی روابط اور پارلیمانی تعاون پاک چین دوستی کو مزید وسعت اور نئی جہتیں فراہم کریں گے۔
