Islamabad, September 10, 2026: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, in his message on the 78th death anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, paid rich tribute to the Father of the Nation, saying that his visionary and selfless leadership had changed the course of history and made the creation of Pakistan possible.
NA Speaker said Quaid-e-Azam’s remarkable political acumen, steadfast commitment to principles and constitutional struggle united the Muslims of the subcontinent in their quest for a separate homeland. His unparalleled services and historic struggle, he added, would continue to serve as an enduring source of inspiration for the nation.
Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said Quaid-e-Azam consistently upheld the rule of law, constitutionalism, democratic principles and political wisdom throughout his political career. His life and struggle, he said, demonstrated that steadfastness, unity and discipline were indispensable to achieving national objectives.
NA Speaker stressed the need to acquaint younger generations with Quaid-e-Azam’s life, struggle and political thought, saying that his vision remained highly relevant to Pakistan’s present and future.
Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said Quaid-e-Azam envisioned a Pakistan where the rule of law, democratic values, equality and the fundamental rights of all citizens were fully protected. The Founder of Pakistan had also emphasized equal citizenship and religious freedom for all, including minorities, he added.
NA Speaker said Pakistan today needed to draw guidance from Quaid-e-Azam’s vision by further strengthening state institutions, promoting democratic traditions and fostering tolerance, unity and mutual respect in society. He called for renewed commitment to the principles of Faith, Unity and Discipline, describing them as essential to building a stable, prosperous and progressive Pakistan.
Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said Parliament was the custodian of Quaid-e-Azam’s democratic and constitutional vision. Strengthening Parliament, ensuring the supremacy of the Constitution and the rule of law, and undertaking effective legislation for the welfare of the people were important steps towards realizing the Quaid’s vision, he said.
NA Speaker urged political leadership and the people to place national interests above all else and work with unity and solidarity for the country’s development, stability and prosperity. He said the death anniversary of the Father of the Nation was an occasion not only to pay tribute to his unparalleled services but also to renew the national resolve to uphold his principles with sincerity, dedication and hard work.
Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah also paid tribute to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, describing his political vision, perseverance and commitment to principles as an invaluable legacy of Pakistan’s history.
NA Deputy Speaker said Quaid-e-Azam had attached fundamental importance to democracy, constitutionalism and the rule of law in national life. He stressed that adherence to the Quaid’s principles and vision was essential for making Pakistan a strong, stable and prosperous country.

اسلام آباد، 10 ستمبر 2026: اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی سردار ایاز صادق نے بابائے قوم قائداعظم محمد علی جناحؒ کے 78ویں یومِ وفات کے موقع پر اپنے پیغام میں بانیٔ پاکستان کو خراجِ عقیدت پیش کرتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ قائداعظمؒ کی بصیرت افروز اور بے لوث قیادت نے برصغیر کے مسلمانوں کے لیے ایک علیحدہ وطن کے خواب کو شرمندۂ تعبیر کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ قائداعظمؒ کی غیر معمولی سیاسی بصیرت، اصولوں سے غیر متزلزل وابستگی اور جدوجہد نے برصغیر کے مسلمانوں کو ایک علیحدہ وطن کے حصول کے لیے متحد کیا۔ ان کی اصولوں سے وابستگی اور تاریخی جدوجہد قوم کے لیے ہمیشہ مشعلِ راہ اور باعثِ تقویت رہے گی۔
اسپیکر سردار ایاز صادق نے کہا کہ قائداعظمؒ نے ہمیشہ قانون کی حکمرانی، آئین کی بالادستی، جمہوری اصولوں اور سیاسی دانش مندی کو مقدم رکھا۔ ان کی زندگی اور جدوجہد اس امر کی عکاس ہے کہ قومی مقاصد کے حصول کے لیے ثابت قدمی، اتحاد اور تنظیم ناگزیر ہیں۔ اسپیکر نے نوجوان نسل کو قائداعظمؒ کی زندگی، جدوجہد اور افکار سے روشناس کرانے کی ضرورت پر زور دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ قائداعظمؒ کا وژن پاکستان کے حال اور مستقبل کے لیے کلیدی اہمیت کا حامل ہے۔
اسپیکر سردار ایاز صادق نے کہا کہ قائداعظمؒ ایک ایسے پاکستان کے خواہاں تھے جہاں قانون کی حکمرانی، جمہوری اقدار، مساوات اور تمام شہریوں کے بنیادی حقوق کا مکمل تحفظ ہو۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ بانیٔ پاکستان نے اقلیتوں سمیت تمام شہریوں کے حقوق کے تحفظ اور مذہبی آزادی کو خصوصی اہمیت دی۔ انہوں نے قائداعظمؒ کے وژن سے رہنمائی حاصل کرتے ہوئے جمہوری روایات کو مستحکم کرنے، معاشرے میں برداشت، اتحاد اور باہمی احترام کو فروغ دینے کی ضرورت پر زور دیا۔ انہوں نے اتحاد، ایمان اور تنظیم کے اصولوں پر عمل پیرا ہونے کی ضرورت اجاگر کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ایک مستحکم، خوشحال اور ترقی یافتہ پاکستان کی تعمیر کے لیے قائداعظم محمد علی جناحؒ کے رہنما اصولوں پر عمل پیرا ہونا ضروری ہے۔
اسپیکر سردار ایاز صادق نے کہا کہ پارلیمان قائداعظمؒ کے جمہوری اور آئینی وژن کی محافظ ہے۔ پارلیمان کو مضبوط بنانا، آئین کی بالادستی اور قانون کی حکمرانی کو یقینی بنانا اور عوام کی فلاح و بہبود کے لیے مؤثر قانون سازی کرنا قائداعظمؒ کے وژن کی تکمیل کی جانب اہم اقدامات ہیں۔ انہوں نے قوم کو قومی مفادات کو ذاتی مفادات پر ترجیح دینے اور ملک کی ترقی، استحکام اور خوشحالی کے لیے اتحاد و یکجہتی کے ساتھ مل کر کام کرنے کی ضرورت پر زور دیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ بابائے قوم کی برسی کا دن نہ صرف ان کی بے مثال خدمات کو خراجِ عقیدت پیش کرنے کا موقع فراہم کرتا ہے بلکہ ان کے اصولوں پر خلوص اور لگن کے ساتھ کاربند رہنے کے عہد کی تجدید کا موقع بھی فراہم کرتا ہے۔
اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی نے اللہ تعالیٰ سے بابائے قوم قائداعظم محمد علی جناحؒ کے درجات کی بلندی اور قوم کو ان کے زریں اصولوں پر عمل پیرا ہونے کی توفیق عطا فرمانے کی دعا کی۔
ڈپٹی اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی سید غلام مصطفیٰ شاہ نے قائداعظم محمد علی جناحؒ کی برسی کے موقع پر انہیں خراجِ عقیدت پیش کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ قائداعظمؒ کی سیاسی بصیرت، ثابت قدمی اور اصولوں سے وابستگی پاکستان کی تاریخ کا ایک قیمتی اثاثہ ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ قائداعظمؒ نے ہمیشہ جمہوریت، آئین اور قانون کی حکمرانی کو بنیادی اہمیت دی۔ پاکستان کو ایک مضبوط، مستحکم اور خوشحال ملک بنانے کے لیے قائداعظمؒ کے وژن اور اصولوں پر کاربند رہنا ناگزیر ہے۔
ڈپٹی اسپیکر نے اللہ تعالیٰ سے قائداعظم محمد علی جناحؒ کے درجات کی بلندی اور پاکستان کو ترقی، خوشحالی اور استحکام عطا فرمانے کی دعا کی۔
