Islamabad, 6 September 2026: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, on the occasion of Air Force Day, has paid rich tribute to the martyrs, ghazis and Shaheens of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), saying that the PAF has consistently demonstrated exceptional courage, professional excellence and patriotism in defending the country’s sovereignty, national security and airspace.

NA Speaker said that the sacrifices rendered by the martyrs and ghazis of the PAF constitute a proud chapter in the nation’s history. The nation, he added, would always remember and honour the sacrifices and valour of its brave sons.

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that during the 1965 war, the Pakistan Air Force, despite limited resources, displayed remarkable professional superiority, courage and combat skills, effectively defending the country’s airspace and giving a befitting response to enemy air attacks. The bravery, determination and sacrifices of the PAF Shaheens wrote an unforgettable chapter in the history of national defence and boosted the morale of the entire nation.

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that Air Marshal Nur Khan led the Pakistan Air Force during the 1965 war with exceptional leadership and firm resolve. Under his command, the PAF demonstrated outstanding performance against the enemy and proved its combat capabilities. Paying tribute to the exceptional courage and combat skills of M M Alam, he said that shooting down five enemy aircraft in a single aerial engagement remains a remarkable example of his professional excellence and bravery.

NA Speaker said that during the aerial battles of the 1965 war, PAF pilots and other personnel demonstrated exceptional courage, devotion to duty and a spirit of sacrifice, setting enduring examples in the defence of the motherland. The sacrifices of these brave Shaheens, he said, would continue to serve as a source of inspiration for future generations, while the nation would always hold their services in the highest esteem.

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that during Marka-e-Haq in May 2025, the Pakistan Air Force, under the leadership of Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, demonstrated its professional capability, operational preparedness and effective use of modern technology. The PAF’s advanced fighter aircraft, particularly the J-10C and JF-17 Thunder, played an important role in the defence of the country and effectively responded to Indian aggression, shooting down multiple enemy aircraft without suffering any loss of its own. He said that the J-10C and JF-17 Thunder are prominent symbols of Pakistan’s defence self-reliance, technological capability and modern air combat preparedness.

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that from 1965 to Marka-e-Haq, the history of the Pakistan Air Force is marked by determination, sacrifice, professional excellence and exemplary service in defence of the motherland.

NA Speaker said that the services of the Pakistan Air Force were not confined to the defence and battlefield alone. The PAF has also played an appreciable role in rescue and relief operations during natural disasters, emergencies and other difficult situations, setting a shining example of national service. He said that the PAF’s high standards of professional training, adoption of modern technology, research and development, and continuous enhancement of its defence capabilities have further strengthened the country’s defence.

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that Pakistan is a peaceful country and remains committed to peace and stability in the region. However, he stressed that there would be no compromise on the protection of the country’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and national security. He said that the nation takes immense pride in the courage and sacrifices of its martyrs, ghazis and the Shaheens of the Pakistan Air Force.

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq prayed to Allah Almighty to elevate the ranks of the martyrs, grant patience and strength to their bereaved families, and bless Pakistan with lasting peace, security, progress, prosperity and stability.

Deputy Speaker National Assembly Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah, in his message on Air Force Day, also paid tribute to the martyrs, ghazis and Shaheens of the Pakistan Air Force, saying that from the 1965 war to Marka-e-Haq, the PAF had fulfilled its responsibility of defending the motherland with professional excellence, courage and combat capability at every challenging juncture.

Deputy Speaker Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah said that during the 1965 war, the PAF Shaheens, despite limited resources, stood firm against the enemy’s air power and wrote a golden chapter in the nation’s history through their exceptional bravery. He said that during Marka-e-Haq in May 2025, the PAF’s effective and professional operations once again demonstrated that the nation’s Shaheens remain fully prepared to meet every challenge in defence of the motherland.

The NA Deputy Speaker said that the sacrifices of the PAF martyrs and ghazis are a matter of immense pride for the nation, while their courage, determination and patriotism would continue to inspire future generations. He said that the entire nation holds the services and sacrifices of its Shaheens in the highest esteem.

اسلام آباد، 6 ستمبر 2026: اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی سردار ایاز صادق نے یومِ فضائیہ کے موقع پر پاک فضائیہ کے شہداء، غازیوں اور شاہینوں کو خراجِ عقیدت پیش کرتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ پاک فضائیہ نے ملکی خودمختاری، قومی سلامتی اور فضائی حدود کے دفاع میں ہمیشہ غیر معمولی جرات، پیشہ ورانہ مہارت اور حب الوطنی کا مظاہرہ کیا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ پاک فضائیہ کے شہداء اور غازیوں کی قربانیاں قومی تاریخ کا قابلِ فخر باب ہیں۔ قوم اپنے ان بہادر سپوتوں کی قربانیوں اور شجاعت کو ہمیشہ یاد رکھے گی۔

اسپیکر سردار ایاز صادق نے کہا کہ 1965ء کی جنگ میں پاک فضائیہ نے محدود وسائل کے باوجود اپنی پیشہ ورانہ برتری، جرات اور جنگی مہارت کا شاندار مظاہرہ کرتے ہوئے ملکی فضائی حدود کا مؤثر دفاع کیا اور دشمن کے فضائی حملوں کا بھرپور مقابلہ کیا۔ پاک فضائیہ کے شاہینوں کی بہادری، عزم اور قربانی نے دفاعِ وطن کی تاریخ میں ایک ناقابلِ فراموش باب رقم کیا اور پوری قوم کے حوصلے بلند کیے۔

اسپیکر سردار ایاز صادق نے کہا کہ ایئر مارشل نور خان نے 1965ء کی جنگ کے دوران پاک فضائیہ کی قیادت غیر معمولی قائدانہ صلاحیت، پیشہ ورانہ بصیرت اور مضبوط عزم کے ساتھ کی۔ ان کی مؤثر قیادت میں پاک فضائیہ نے دشمن کے مقابلے میں شاندار کارکردگی کا مظاہرہ کیا اور اپنی جنگی صلاحیتوں کو منوایا۔ انہوں نے ایم ایم عالم کی غیر معمولی جرات اور جنگی مہارت کو خراجِ عقیدت پیش کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ایک فضائی معرکے میں دشمن کے پانچ طیارے مار گرانا ان کی بے مثال پیشہ ورانہ صلاحیت اور بہادری کی روشن مثال ہے۔

اسپیکر سردار ایاز صادق نے کہا کہ 1965ء کے فضائی معرکوں میں پاک فضائیہ کے پائلٹس اور دیگر اہلکاروں نے جانفشانی، بے مثال جرات اور جذبۂ شہادت کا مظاہرہ کرتے ہوئے دفاعِ وطن کی لازوال مثالیں قائم کیں۔ ان بہادر شاہینوں کی قربانیاں آنے والی نسلوں کے لیے مشعلِ راہ ہیں اور قوم ان کی خدمات کو ہمیشہ قدر و احترام کی نگاہ سے دیکھے گی۔

اسپیکر سردار ایاز صادق نے کہا کہ مئی 2025ء کے معرکۂ حق کے دوران پاک فضائیہ کے چیف ایئر چیف مارشل ظہیر احمد بابر سدھو کی قیادت میں پاک فضائیہ نے اپنی پیشہ ورانہ صلاحیت، جنگی تیاری اور جدید ٹیکنالوجی کے مؤثر استعمال کا بھرپور مظاہرہ کیا۔ پاک فضائیہ کے جدید لڑاکا طیاروں، بالخصوص جے-10 سی اور جے ایف-17 تھنڈر  لڑاکا طیاروں، نے دفاعِ وطن میں اہم کردار ادا کیا اور بھارتی جارحیت کا مؤثر جواب دیتے ہوئے بغیر کسی نقصان کے متعدد طیارے مار گرائے۔ جے-10 سی اور جے ایف-17 تھنڈر پاکستان کی دفاعی خود انحصاری، تکنیکی صلاحیت اور جدید فضائی جنگی استعداد کی نمایاں علامت ہیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ 1965ء کے شاہینوں سے لے کر معرکۂ حق کے محافظوں تک، پاک فضائیہ کی تاریخ عزم، قربانی، پیشہ ورانہ مہارت اور دفاعِ وطن کی روشن مثالوں سے عبارت ہے۔

اسپیکر سردار ایاز صادق نے کہا کہ پاک فضائیہ کی خدمات صرف دفاعی اور جنگی میدان تک محدود نہیں بلکہ قدرتی آفات، ہنگامی حالات اور دیگر مشکل مواقع پر امدادی سرگرمیوں میں بھی پاک فضائیہ کا کردار قابلِ تحسین اور قومی خدمت کی روشن مثال ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ پاک فضائیہ کی اعلیٰ پیشہ ورانہ تربیت، جدید ٹیکنالوجی سے ہم آہنگی، تحقیق و ترقی اور دفاعی صلاحیتوں میں مسلسل اضافہ ملکی دفاع کو مزید مضبوط بنا رہا ہے۔

اسپیکر سردار ایاز صادق نے کہا کہ پاکستان ایک پرامن ملک ہے اور خطے میں امن و استحکام کا خواہاں ہے، تاہم ملکی خودمختاری، علاقائی سالمیت اور قومی سلامتی کے تحفظ پر کوئی سمجھوتہ نہیں کیا جائے گا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ قوم کو اپنے شہداء، غازیوں اور پاک فضائیہ کے شاہینوں کی بہادری اور قربانیوں پر فخر ہے۔

اسپیکر سردار ایاز صادق نے اللہ تعالیٰ سے دعا کی کہ اللہ تعالٰی شہداء کے درجات بلند فرمائے، ان کے اہلِ خانہ کو صبر و حوصلہ عطا کرے اور وطنِ عزیز کو امن، سلامتی، ترقی، خوشحالی اور استحکام سے ہمکنار فرمائے۔

ڈپٹی اسپیکر سید غلام مصطفی شاہ نے کہا کہ 1965ء کی جنگ کے دوران پاک فضائیہ کے شاہینوں نے محدود وسائل کے باوجود دشمن کی فضائی طاقت کا ڈٹ کر مقابلہ کیا اور اپنی بے مثال بہادری سے قومی تاریخ میں سنہری باب رقم کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ مئی 2025ء کے معرکۂ حق میں بھی پاک فضائیہ کی مؤثر اور پیشہ ورانہ کارروائیوں نے ثابت کیا کہ وطن کے دفاع کے لیے قوم کے شاہین آج بھی ہر چیلنج کا مقابلہ کرنے کے لیے پوری طرح تیار ہیں۔

ڈپٹی اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی نے کہا کہ پاک فضائیہ کے شہداء اور غازیوں کی قربانیاں قوم کے لیے باعثِ فخر ہیں اور ان کی جرات، عزم اور حب الوطنی آنے والی نسلوں کے لیے مشعلِ راہ ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ پوری قوم اپنے شاہینوں کی خدمات اور قربانیوں کو قدر و احترام کی نگاہ سے دیکھتی ہے۔ انہوں نے اللہ تعالیٰ سے شہداء کے درجات کی بلندی، ان کے اہلِ خانہ کے لیے صبر و استقامت اور وطنِ عزیز کو ہمیشہ امن، سلامتی، ترقی، خوشحالی اور استحکام سے ہمکنار فرمانے کی دعا کی۔
