Islamabad, August 17, 2026: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the passing of former Member of the National Assembly, Begum Nafisa Khalid, who was also the maternal grandmother of Special Secretary (Special Inititaives) National Assembly, Syed Shamoon Hashmi.

 

Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has paid rich tribute to the late Begum Nafisa Khalid for her valuable political, parliamentary and social services. He said that she made significant contributions to the strengthening of democracy and the promotion of democratic values in the country. Her Political, Parliamentary and Social Services would be remembered for a long time to come, he added.

 

 Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that the passing of Begum Nafisa Khalid was a great loss to her family and loved ones. He extended his heartfelt condolences to Syed Shamoon Hashmi and other members of the bereaved family and expressed solidarity with them in this hour of grief.

 Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq prayed to Allah Almighty to bless the departed soul with the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and grant the bereaved family strength and patience to bear this irreparable loss with equanimity.

 

اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی سردار ایاز صادق کا سابق رکن قومی اسمبلی محترمہ بیگم نفیسہ خالد صاحبہ کے انتقال پر اظہارِ تعزیت

 

اسلام آباد: 17 اگست، 2026؛ اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی سردار ایاز صادق نے سابق رکن قومی اسمبلی اور قومی اسمبلی میں اسپیشل سیکرٹری سید شمعون ہاشمی کی نانی صاحبہ، محترمہ بیگم نفیسہ خالد صاحبہ کے انتقال پر گہرے دکھ اور افسوس کا اظہار کیا ہے۔

 

اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی نے بیگم نفیسہ خالد کی سیاسی، پارلیمانی اور سماجی خدمات کو خراج تحسین پیش کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ مرحومہ نے ملک میں جمہوریت کے استحکام اور جمہوری اقدار کے فروغ کیلئے گراں قدر خدمات سر انجام دیں۔انہوں نے کہا کہ مرحومہ کی سیاسی، پارلیمانی اور سماجی خدمات کو تادیر یاد رکھا جائے گا۔سردار ایاز صادق نے کہا کہ بیگم نفیسہ خالد کی وفات اہلِخانہ اور ان کے عزیز و اقارب کے لیے ایک بڑا صدمہ ہے۔انہوں نے سید شمعون ہاشمی اور دیگر عزیز و اقارب سے دلی تعزیت کا اظہار کیا ہے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ مرحومہ کے انتقال پر سوگوار خاندان کے غم اور دکھ میں برابر کا شریک ہوں۔

 

اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی نے اللہ تعالیٰ سے مرحومہ بیگم نفیسہ خالد کو جنت الفردوس میں اعلیٰ مقام اور سوگوار خاندان کو اس ناقابلِ تلافی نقصان کو برداشت کرنے کیلئے صبر جمیل عطاء فرمانے کی دعا کی۔
