Islamabad, July 8, 2026: Speaker National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq paid a rich tribute to Madar-e-Millat Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah on the occasion of her 59th death anniversary, stating that she played a historic role alongside Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah during the Pakistan Movement and continued to uphold democratic values, constitutional supremacy, and the protection of the rights of the people after the creation of Pakistan. He said that the nation would always remember her unparalleled services with profound respect and reverence.

 

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah dedicated her entire life to serving the nation, upholding integrity, principled leadership, and promoting democratic traditions. He noted that Madar-e-Millat inspired generations of women by promoting education, self-confidence, national awareness, and a spirit of social service, encouraging them to play a meaningful and active role in the development and progress of the country.

 

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq further stated that a strong, united, democratic, and prosperous Pakistan is the true manifestation of the vision of Madar-e-Millat Ms. Fatima Jinnah. He said that the nation would continue to draw inspiration from her ideals, principles, and invaluable services in striving for national development, unity, the strengthening of democracy, and the welfare of the people.

 

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq prayed to Allah Almighty to elevate the ranks of Madar-e-Millat Ms. Fatima Jinnah and grant the nation the wisdom and resolve to uphold her principles, ideals, and democratic values.

 

Deputy Speaker National Assembly Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah also paid tribute to Madar-e-Millat Ms. Fatima Jinnah, describing her as one of the most distinguished and revered personalities in Pakistan's history. He said that her remarkable contributions to promoting women's political and social participation, democratic consciousness, and national unity remain a source of inspiration. He added that her principled and honest struggle serves as a guiding light for the younger generation and that her services to the nation will forever be remembered in the annals of history.
