On the Instructions of Speaker NA, Acting Secretary NA Writes to DG FIA and IG Sindh for Legal Action Against Abdul Wajid

Islamabad, July 4, 2026: Speaker National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has taken strong notice of the misuse of the name of the National Assembly Secretariat through a forged appointment/offer letter and the alleged misuse of the official status of the National Assembly.

It has come to the notice of the National Assembly Secretariat that a person namely Abdul Wajid, a resident of district Ghotki, falsely represented himself as a Grade-17 employee of the National Assembly and used a forged appointment letter issued in the name of the National Assembly Secretariat, which also bore forged signatures of the Speaker National Assembly. According to reports, the said individual not only misled government officials and police authorities by claiming this fake status and allegedly obtained undue privileges and protocol, but was also reportedly involved in harassing and pressuring citizens through various means, causing concern and unrest among the public.

The National Assembly Secretariat clarifies that Abdul Wajid has no connection whatsoever with the National Assembly Secretariat, and there is no record of his appointment or employment in the National Assembly. The appointment letter being used by him is completely fake and has no legal or official standing.

On the directions of the Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Acting Secretary National Assembly has written formal letters to the Director General Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and the Inspector General of Sindh Police, requesting initiation of legal proceedings against Abdul Wajid, tracing the origin of the forged appointment letter, identifying those involved in this matter, and taking strict legal action against all responsible persons under the relevant laws. On the complaint of the National Assembly Secretariat, FIA took prompt action and arrested the accused person. Legal proceedings against him are underway, while investigations are also in progress to trace the source of the forged appointment letter and identify any other individuals involved in the offence.

The National Assembly Secretariat further states that preparing or using forged documents in the name of the National Assembly Secretariat, the Speaker National Assembly, or any official authority, or obtaining any form of illegal protocol, benefits, or advantages on this basis, is a serious and punishable offence. Strict legal action will be taken against such elements without any discrimination.

The National Assembly Secretariat also urges the public and all government institutions to verify the authenticity of any appointment letter, offer letter, or official document purportedly issued by the National Assembly Secretariat from the concerned authorities, and to immediately report any suspicious activity or forged document to the relevant law enforcement agencies to discourage misuse of the name of state institutions.

اسلام آباد، 4 جولائی 2026؛ اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی سردار ایاز صادق نے قومی اسمبلی سیکرٹریٹ کے نام سے جاری کیے گئے جعلی تقرری/آفر لیٹر اور اس کے ذریعے قومی اسمبلی کی سرکاری حیثیت کے مبینہ غلط استعمال کے معاملے کا سخت نوٹس لیا ہے۔

 

قومی اسمبلی سیکرٹریٹ کے علم میں آیا ہے کہ ضلع گھوٹکی سے تعلق رکھنے والا عبدالواجد نامی شخص مبینہ طور پر خود کو قومی اسمبلی میں گریڈ 17 کا ملازم ظاہر کرتے ہوئے قومی اسمبلی سیکرٹریٹ کے نام سے منسوب جعلی تقرر نامہ، جس پر اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی کے جعلی دستخط بھی ثبت کیے گئے، استعمال کر رہا تھا۔ اطلاعات کے مطابق مذکورہ شخص نہ صرف سرکاری اہلکاروں اور پولیس کو اس جعلی حیثیت کے ذریعے گمراہ کر کے مبینہ طور پر غیر قانونی مراعات اور پروٹوکول حاصل کرتا رہا بلکہ عام شہریوں کو مختلف طریقوں سے ہراساں کرنے اور دباؤ میں رکھنے میں بھی ملوث رہا، جس کے نتیجے میں عوامی سطح پر بے چینی اور تشویش پائی گئی۔

 

قومی اسمبلی سیکرٹریٹ واضح کرتا ہے کہ مذکورہ عبدالواجد نامی شخص کا قومی اسمبلی سیکرٹریٹ سے کسی بھی نوعیت کا کوئی تعلق نہیں ہے، اور نہ ہی مذکورہ شخص کی قومی اسمبلی میں کسی بھی ملازمت یا تقرری سے متعلق کوئی ریکارڈ موجود ہے۔ اس کی جانب سے استعمال کیا جانے والا لیٹر مکمل طور پر جعلی ہے اور اس کا قومی اسمبلی سے کوئی قانونی یا سرکاری تعلق نہیں ہے۔

 

اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی کی ہدایات پر قائم مقام سیکرٹری قومی اسمبلی نے ڈائریکٹر جنرل فیڈرل انویسٹیگیشن ایجنسی (FIA) اور انسپکٹر جنرل سندھ پولیس کو باضابطہ خطوط ارسال کیے، جن میں جعلی تقرر نامے کے اصل ذریعے کا سراغ لگانے، اس کی تیاری میں ملوث عناصر کی نشاندہی کرنے اور ذمہ داران کے خلاف مروجہ قوانین کے تحت سخت قانونی کارروائی عمل میں لانے کی درخواست کی گئی۔

 

قومی اسمبلی سیکرٹریٹ کی شکایت پر ایف آئی اے نے فوری کارروائی کرتے ہوئے مذکورہ شخص کو گرفتار کر لیا ہے۔ ملزم کے خلاف مروجہ قوانین کے تحت قانونی کارروائی جاری ہے، جبکہ جعلی تقرر نامے کی تیاری، اس کے اصل ذریعے کا سراغ لگانے اور اس جرم میں ملوث دیگر عناصر کا تعین کرنے کے لیے تحقیقات بھی جاری ہیں۔

 

قومی اسمبلی سیکرٹریٹ کی جانب سے یہ بھی واضح کیا جاتا ہے کہ قومی اسمبلی، اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی یا کسی بھی سرکاری عہدے کے نام پر جعلی دستاویزات تیار کرنا، جعلی دستخط استعمال کرنا یا اس بنیاد پر کسی بھی قسم کا پروٹوکول، مراعات یا دیگر غیر قانونی فوائد حاصل کرنا ایک سنگین اور قابلِ تعزیر جرم ہے۔ ایسے عناصر کے خلاف بلاامتیاز اور سخت قانونی کارروائی عمل میں لائی جائے گی۔

 

قومی اسمبلی سیکرٹریٹ عوام اور تمام سرکاری اداروں سے اپیل کرتا ہے کہ قومی اسمبلی سیکرٹریٹ سے منسوب کسی بھی تقرر نامے، آفر لیٹر یا دیگر سرکاری دستاویزات کی صداقت کی تصدیق متعلقہ حکام سے ضرور کریں اور کسی بھی مشکوک سرگرمی یا جعلی دستاویز کی فوری اطلاع متعلقہ قانون نافذ کرنے والے اداروں کو دیں، تاکہ ریاستی اداروں کے نام کے ناجائز استعمال کی مؤثر حوصلہ شکنی کی جا سکے۔
