Islamabad, June 15, 2026: Speaker National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has hailed Pakistan's pivotal role in facilitating dialogue between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States, describing it as a historic diplomatic milestone that has helped break a deadlock that persisted for nearly five decades. Addressing the National Assembly, the Speaker said that it was a matter of immense pride for Pakistan and its people that the country had contributed meaningfully to bringing both sides to the negotiating table. He also extended felicitation to the House and the entire nation on a landmark achievement in the cause of regional and global peace.

 

The Speaker stated that Pakistan's constructive engagement and tireless diplomatic efforts had helped create an atmosphere conducive to dialogue, thereby reducing tensions that had threatened international peace and security. He remarked that Pakistan's role in supporting diplomacy over confrontation reflected the country's longstanding commitment to peaceful resolution of disputes.

 

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq paid rich tribute to Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif for his prudent leadership, political foresight, and unwavering commitment to peace. He noted that the Prime Minister's statesmanship and diplomatic acumen had been instrumental in advancing efforts aimed at fostering understanding between the concerned parties.The Speaker also commended Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar for demonstrating exemplary diplomacy in facilitating the process, while acknowledging the valuable contributions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Pakistan's diplomatic corps.

 

NA Speaker further lauded Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, for his dedicated efforts and steadfast commitment for Pakistan's peace-oriented diplomatic initiatives. He said that the coordinated efforts of the country's civil and military leadership had once again demonstrated Pakistan's ability to act as a responsible and credible stakeholder in international affairs.He also appreciated the role of Federal Minister for Interior Senator Mohsin Naqvi for maintaining effective coordination throughout the process, as well as National Security Adviser General Asim Malik for his strategic guidance. The Speaker acknowledged the services of Foreign Secretary Ms. Amna Baloch and the entire Foreign Office team for their professionalism and commitment. 

 

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq extended his congratulations to the leadership of both Iran and the United States on the reported breakthrough in diplomatic engagement and expressed hope that the ongoing process would pave the way for lasting peace, stability, and mutual understanding.The Speaker thanked friendly countries that supported and encouraged Pakistan's peace efforts, noting that international cooperation remains essential for resolving complex global challenges.

 

Welcoming Iranian Ambassador Dr. Reza Amiri Moghadam and his delegation to the National Assembly, the Speaker congratulated the Ambassador on the diplomatic progress achieved and appreciated his constructive role in facilitating dialogue and fostering greater understanding between the concerned parties Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq prayed that Almighty Allah may grant Pakistan the wisdom, strength, and success to continue contributing towards the realization and completion of a durable Iran–United States peace agreement, thereby promoting peace, stability, and prosperity for the region and the wider world.

ایران-امریکہ امن معاہدہ پاکستان کے سفارتی کردار کی فتح ہے، اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی 

 

اسلام آباد، 15 جون 2026ءاسپیکر قومی اسمبلی سردار ایاز صادق نے ایران اور امریکہ کے درمیان تقریباً 47 برس سے جاری سفارتی ڈیڈ لاک کے خاتمے کے بعد امن معاہدے کو عالمی امن کیلئے ایک تاریخی پیش رفت قرار دیتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ اس طویل سفارتی جمود کو توڑنے کا اعزاز پاکستان کے نصیب میں آیا ہے، جو پوری قوم کے لیے باعثِ فخر اور قابلِ تحسین کامیابی ہے۔

 

قومی اسمبلی کے اجلاس کے دوران اپنے ریمارکس میں اسپیکر سردار ایاز صادق نے کہا کہ وہ اس تاریخی موقع پر ایوان اور پوری قوم کو دلی مبارکباد پیش کرتے ہیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ یہ کامیابی اللہ تعالیٰ کا خاص فضل و کرم ہے اور پوری قوم، ان سمیت، اس عظیم کامیابی پر اللہ تعالیٰ کے حضور سجدۂ شکر بجا لاتی ہے۔

 

اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی نے کہا کہ پاکستان کی مسلسل، متوازن اور مؤثر سفارتی کاوشوں کے نتیجے میں دونوں فریق مذاکرات کی میز تک پہنچے، جس سے خطے اور دنیا میں امن کے فروغ کی نئی راہیں کھلی ہیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ پاکستان کی دانشمندانہ سیاسی و عسکری قیادت کی مشترکہ کوششوں نے پائیدار امن کی بنیاد رکھنے میں اہم کردار ادا کیا ہے۔

 

سردار ایاز صادق نے کہا کہ پاکستان کی فعال سفارت کاری کے باعث دنیا ایک بڑے بین الاقوامی تصادم اور ممکنہ عالمی بحران سے محفوظ رہی۔ انہوں نے اس تاریخی پیش رفت پر وزیراعظم محمد شہباز شریف کی بصیرت افروز قیادت اور معاملہ فہم سفارتی کوششوں کو خراجِ تحسین پیش کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ وزیراعظم نے اس اہم عمل کو کامیاب بنانے میں کلیدی کردار ادا کیا۔

 

انہوں نے نائب وزیراعظم و وزیر خارجہ سینیٹر محمد اسحاق ڈار کی سفارتی مہارت اور شبانہ روز کاوشوں کو سراہتے ہوئے کہا کہ انہوں نے مذاکراتی عمل کو آگے بڑھانے میں غیرمعمولی کردار ادا کیا۔ اسپیکر نے چیف آف ڈیفنس فورسز فیلڈ مارشل سید عاصم منیر کی انتھک محنت، وفاقی وزیر داخلہ سینیٹر محسن نقوی کی مسلسل رابطہ کاری، قومی سلامتی کے مشیر جنرل عاصم ملک کی حکمتِ عملی، وفاقی سیکرٹری خارجہ محترمہ آمنہ بلوچ اور وزارتِ خارجہ کی پوری ٹیم کی خدمات کو بھی قابلِ ستائش قرار دیا۔

 

اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی نے کہا کہ قوم کو اپنی سیاسی اور عسکری قیادت پر فخر ہے، جس نے قومی مفادات اور عالمی امن کے فروغ کے لیے مؤثر کردار ادا کیا۔ انہوں نے ایران اور امریکہ کی قیادت کو امن معاہدے پر مبارکباد پیش کرتے ہوئے امید ظاہر کی کہ یہ پیش رفت خطے میں استحکام، تعاون اور خوشحالی کے فروغ کا ذریعہ بنے گی۔انہوں نے ان تمام دوست ممالک کا بھی شکریہ ادا کیا جنہوں نے پاکستان کی سفارتی کوششوں کی حمایت کی اور اس عمل کو کامیاب بنانے میں تعاون فراہم کیا۔

 

اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی نے پاکستان میں تعینات ایران کے سفیر ڈاکٹر رضا امیری مقدم اور ان کے وفد کو قومی اسمبلی آمد پر خوش آمدید کہا اور انہیں ایران۔امریکہ امن معاہدے پر مبارکباد پیش کی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ڈاکٹر رضا امیری مقدم نے دونوں ممالک کے درمیان اعتماد سازی اور سفارتی روابط کو فروغ دینے میں قابلِ تحسین کردار ادا کیا ہے۔سردار ایاز صادق نے دعا کی کہ اللہ تعالیٰ پاکستان کو ایران اور امریکہ کے درمیان امن اور مفاہمت کے اس عمل کو کامیابی سے پایۂ تکمیل تک پہنچانے کی توفیق عطا فرمائے اور دنیا میں امن، استحکام اور باہمی احترام کے فروغ کا ذریعہ بنائے۔
