Islamabad, 11 September 2025: Speaker National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq paid homage to national hero Major Raja Aziz Bhatti Shaheed (Nishan-e-Haider), stating that his unparalleled courage and ultimate sacrifice will forever serve as a beacon of inspiration for the nation. He further stated that during the 1965 War, Major Aziz Bhatti Shaheed stood as a formidable shield in defense of the motherland and by laying down his life, set an timeless example that will remain inscribed in the annals of history. He added that the conferment of Nishan-e-Haider is a befitting recognition of his unmatched bravery and devotion, a distinction that is a matter of immense pride for the entire nation.

 

Speaker NA recalled that in the Burki Sector near Lahore, Major Aziz Bhatti Shaheed fought valiantly for five days and nights against the enemy before embracing martyrdom on 12 September 1965. He noted that the sacrifices of martyrs reaffirm the lesson that the honor, dignity, and sovereignty of the motherland transcend all else.

 

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq further remarked that the soldiers of the Pakistan Armed Forces have, throughout history, defended the homeland by offering the ultimate sacrifice of their lives, and the entire nation takes profound pride in their valor and resilience.

 

Deputy Speaker National Assembly, Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah, in his message, also paid rich tribute to Major Raja Aziz Bhatti Shaheed. He stated that the unforgettable role he played in safeguarding the motherland till his last breath is a source of great pride for the entire nation. He stated that the martyrs of Pakistan are the true heroes of the nation, whose sacrifices will always be remembered with deep respect and gratitude.

 

 

 

میجر راجہ عزیز بھٹی شہیدؒ کی جرات و قربانی قومی تاریخ کا درخشاں باب ہے، اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی

پاکستانی قوم اپنے اس عظیم شہید کو خراجِ عقیدت پیش کرتی ہے، سردار ایاز صادق

 

اسلام آباد؛ 11 ستمبر 2025ء: اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی سردار ایاز صادق نے کہا ہے کہ نشانِ حیدر کے حامل قومی ہیرو میجر راجہ عزیز بھٹی شہیدؒ کی جرات اور قربانی ہمیشہ قوم کے لیے مشعلِ راہ رہے گی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ 1965 کی جنگ میں میجر عزیز بھٹی شہیدؒ نے دشمن کے سامنے سیسہ پلائی ہوئی دیوار بن کر مادرِ وطن کا دفاع کیا اور اپنی جان کا نذرانہ پیش کر کے ایسی مثال قائم کی جو ہمیشہ تاریخ کے سنہری اوراق میں لکھی جائے گی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ نشانِ حیدر کی یہ عظیم سعادت میجر عزیز بھٹی شہیدؒ کی بے مثال بہادری اور لازوال قربانی کا اعتراف ہے، جس پر پوری قوم کو فخر ہے۔

 

اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی نے کہا کہ لاہور کے قریب برکی سیکٹر میں میجر عزیز بھٹی شہیدؒ نے پانچ دن اور پانچ رات دشمن کے خلاف بے مثال دلیری کا مظاہرہ کیا اور بالآخر 12 ستمبر 1965ء کو جامِ شہادت نوش کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ شہداء کی قربانیاں ہمیں یہ سبق دیتی ہیں کہ وطن کی عزت، وقار اور سلامتی سب سے بڑھ کر ہے۔

 

انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ افواجِ پاکستان کے جوانوں نے ہمیشہ اپنی جانوں کا نذرانہ پیش کر کے وطنِ عزیز کی سرحدوں کی حفاظت کی ہے اور پوری قوم ان کی جرات و بہادری پر ناز کرتی ہے۔

 

ڈپٹی اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی سید غلام مصطفیٰ شاہ نے بھی اپنے پیغام میں کہا کہ میجر راجہ عزیز بھٹی شہیدؒ نے آخری دم تک مادرِ وطن کی حفاظت کا جو لازوال کردار ادا کیا وہ پوری قوم کے لیے قابلِ فخر ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ پاکستان کے تمام شہداء ہمارے حقیقی ہیروز ہیں اور قوم ہمیشہ ان کی قربانیوں کو یاد رکھا جائے گا۔
