Islamabad; October 3, 2013: In pursuance of the provisions of clause (3) of Article 53 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mr. Murtaza Javed Abbasi, Deputy Speaker National Assembly shall act as Speaker National Assembly, with effect from the 3^rd October, 2013 vice Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Speaker National Assembly who has proceeded abroad to attend 129^th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) being held at Geneva, Switzerland.
