NA Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq strongly condemns the firing Incident on the Convoy of Speaker Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Chaudhry Latif Akbar

Islamabad: 26th January 2025; Speaker of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has strongly condemned the firing incident that occurred on the convoy of Chaudhry Latif Akbar, the Speaker of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly. The Speaker of the National Assembly expressed his profound sorrow upon hearing that several individuals were injured during this senseless act of aggression. He extended his heartfelt condolences to the victims and their families, emphasizing the need for swift investigation to ensure that those responsible for this heinous act are held accountable.

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq also expressed relief and gratitude to Allah Almighty for sparing Chaudhry Latif Akbar from harm during the attack. He noted that it is a blessing that the Speaker of Azad Jammu and Kashmir remained unharmed despite the severity of the incident.

Moreover, the Speaker of the National Assembly reiterated his commitment to ensuring the safety of all political leaders, lawmakers, and citizens, emphasizing the importance of maintaining peace, tolerance, and security within the political framework.

The Speaker  Sardar Ayaz Sadiq also extended his warmest wishes for the health, safety, and well-being of Chaudhry Latif Akbar. He expressed hope for the swift recovery of those who were injured in the attack and reaffirmed his belief in the resilience and strength of democratic institutions in the face of such challenges.
