Pakistan and Bosnia & Herzegovina Commit to Strengthening Bilateral Trade and Economic Ties.

A briefing session on Pakistan-Bosnia bilateral and trade relations was held at the National Assembly Secretariat today, followed by the first meeting with, H.E. Mr. Emin Cohodarevic, Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Pakistan.

The meeting was chaired by Dr. Nikhat Shakeel Khan, MNA / Convener Pakistan – Bosnia & Herzegovina PFG. The meeting was attended by group members, Mr. Muhammad Shahryar Khan Mahar, Mr. Ahmed Saleem Siddiqui, Ms. Sofia Saeed Shah, Ms. Shahida Rehmani, Ms. Rana Ansar, Ms. Asia Naz Tanoli, Ms. Zeb Jaffar, Mr. Naveed Aamir Jeeva, MNAs, who actively participated in the dialogue and discussion on further strengthening the bilateral ties between Pakistan and Bosnia & Herzegovina.
 
During the briefing, representatives from the Foreign and Commerce Ministries provided an overview of the current state of Pakistan-Bosnia relations, including trade, economic cooperation, and cultural exchanges. They highlighted the potential areas for growth and cooperation between the two nations.



While welcoming the Ambassador of Bosnia & Herzegovina, the Convener of the Pakistan-Bosnia PFG, Dr. Nikhat Shakeel MNA emphasized the importance of strengthening relations between the two nations and exploring new avenues of cooperation.
The Ambassador of Bosnia expressed heartfelt gratitude to Pakistan for its unwavering support at the United Nations, particularly in matters of crucial importance to Bosnia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The Ambassador of Bosnia & Herzegovina underscored that Pakistan and Bosnia & Herzegovina had great opportunity in terms of bilateral cooperation in fields. He emphasized the need to reactivate the Joint Economic Commission to boost trade between two countries.
The Parliamentary Friendship Group reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to fostering stronger relations with Bosnia & Herzegovina and emphasized the need for regular interactions between the two nations.
 
The Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Pakistan expressed his commitment to furthering bilateral relations and appreciated the efforts of the Pakistan-Bosnia PFG in promoting friendship and cooperation between the two nations.
The meeting concluded with a resolve to continue working together to strengthen Pakistan-Bosnia relations and explore new opportunities for cooperation.
