NA Speaker Presides meeting of Party whips in Parliament

Budget Session for the Financial Year 2024-2025 commences from 6th June 2024

Islamabad, May 13, 2024:Honourable Speaker National Assembly of Pakistan Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has presided over the meeting of Chief and Party Whips in the National Assembly to deliberate upon matters regarding the current and Budget Session 2024 in Parliament House Islamabad today. The proposals related to the formation of the Standing Committees and Finance Committee, the allocation of time for the motion of thanks to the Presidential Address, and proposals regarding the Budget Session for the Financial Year 2024-2025 which would commence on 6th June 2024 were deliberate in detail. It was unanimously decided that the current Session of the National Assembly which started today i.e. 13th May 2024 would continue till 17th May 2024. Further, the timings of the speeches regarding the motion of thanks for the Presidential address were also determined.

Deputy Speaker National Assembly Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah, Chief Whip Mr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Members National Assembly Mr.Ijaz Jakhrani, Syed Aminul Haq, Noor Alam Khan, Gul Asghar Khan, Khalid Hussain Magsi, Bilal Kayani and others participated in the meeting.
