Deputy Speaker National Assembly Zahid Akram Durrani visited the Embassy of Turkiye in Islamabad today. Upon arrival at the Embassy, the Ambassador of Turkiye warmly welcomed the Deputy Speaker National Assembly. Deputy Speaker while talking to the Ambassador expressed heartfelt condolences and sympathy over the loss of innocent lives and destruction of property in the devastating earthquake. He remarked that the Parliament and the people of Pakistan stand by the government and people of Turkiye in this hour of grief. He also assured all-out support of Pakistan in the relief and rehabilitation activities. The Deputy Speaker prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the departed souls the highest rank in Jannah & give patience to bereaved families. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of all those who were injured in this tragic incident.

Later, the Deputy Speaker National Assembly Zahid Akram Durrani recorded his comments on the loss of precious lives in the earthquake in Turkiye in the guest book placed in the Turkish Embassy.
