During your visit, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Observe Live Proceedings: Witness sessions in the National Assembly Hall, where 336 members debate key national issues and see your representatives in action. Visitors can also observe committee proceedings, gaining valuable insight into the Parliament’s day-to-day work.

  • Explore Key Areas: Tour prominent spaces such as the National Assembly Hall, the Speaker’s office, the Opposition Chamber, and the Senate. Delve into the Parliamentary Libraries, which house important legislative records and historical archives.

  • Visit Memorials and Exhibits: Experience the Gali-e-Dastoor mural, which chronicles Pakistan’s constitutional history, the Unsung Heroes of Democracy monument, the Senate Museum, and a collection of renowned artworks celebrating the nation’s cultural and political heritage.

How to Visit

  •  Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Public galleries remain open during the sessions only.

  • Common Man’s Gallery: Open to citizens without prior booking when the Assembly is in session. You can find the application form on the link

  • Booking: Groups of more than ten are required to book in advance through the Visitor Services Office. Individual visitors may inquire on arrival, though advance booking is encouraged during busy sessions.

  •  Entry Requirements: Valid government-issued photo ID (CNIC, passport, or student ID) is required.

  •  Location and Access: Situated at Parliament House, Constitution Avenue, Islamabad. Accessible by public transport, with parking nearby.

  •  Accessibility: Facilities and assistance available for visitors with disabilities. Visitors are advised to arrive 30 minutes prior for security screening.

Visitor Guidelines and Security

To ensure safety and maintain decorum:

  • Maintain silence and respectful behavior at all times.

  • Photography and videography are permitted only in designated areas; prior authorization is required inside chambers.

  • Mobile devices must be kept silent or turned off during sessions.

  • Dress code: Business casual or formal attire; modest dressing is mandatory.

  • Follow all security protocols, including bag checks and screening.

  • Comply promptly with instructions from security and staff.

  • Food, beverages and large bags are prohibited inside Assembly chambers.
