Islamabad; 2nd May 2019: The Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser has said that the incumbent government is striving hard for the welfare and prosperity of the common people in the country as the national development is linked with the progress of the common people. He appreciated the public friendly policies of the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar. He expressed these views while talking with Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar who called on him at the Parliament House on Thursday.

The Speaker said that Punjab is the largest province population vise and the growth of the economy of this province will affect positively the largest number of common people of the country.  He said that cooperation in the field of legislation among National and Provincial Assemblies can bring positive changes across the nation. He also appreciated the efforts of Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar for his policies and objective of making development agenda for the most needy and deserved classes of the provinces.

Asad Qaiser said that the affectees of the latest torrential rains and unprecedented seasonal changes in the Punjab province should be compensated. He stressed the need of inclusion of opinion of public representative in development projects and welfare services for the people of province. He said that all political parties are united in the National Assembly on matters of national importance and present Parliament is making legislative efforts for uplifting the status of common people and eradication of unemployment, poverty, terrorism and corruption from the country. He praised the Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar for his honesty, dedication, and commitment to work an expressed complete confidence on his leadership.

Later on the Members National Assembly (MNAs) from Punjab province also met with CM Punjab. Asad Qaisir Speaker National Assembly was also present in the meeting. The members expressed their appreciation for the hard working and honesty of the CM Punjab. They expressed their resolve for sharing the responsibility with the CM Punjab for completing the developmental agenda in the province. They expressed their confidence that SardarUsman Bazdar is the right choice as CM Punjab as he belongs to deprived region of the province. They said that Punjab CM is fully capable and has all the potentials to solve the issues in the largest province.

Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar expressed his gratitude for the Speaker and Members of National Assembly from Punjab for their unconditional support. He said that he is bent upon to deliver at every cost and his government top priority is the prosperity and development of the common people in the province. He also expressed his resolve that he would fulfill the incumbent government agenda of Prime Minster Imran Khan. He said that Punjab government is making all out efforts for socio-economic development in the province. He assured the MNAs to resolve the problems of their constituencies and inclusion of their suggestion in the developmental progress of the province.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Special Assistant to Prime Minister Naeem Ul Haque and large numbers of members of National Assembly from Punjab were present in the meeting.
