Islamabad; March 18th, 2016: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq underlined the need for expanding trade and economic relations for sustained engagement with Argentine. He was speaking to Mr. Rodolfo J. Martin-Saravia, outgoing Ambassador of Argentine to Pakistan who called on him at Parliament House, Islamabad, on Friday.

The Speaker asserted that Parliamentary engagement and economic cooperation give strength to the warm relations between Pakistan and Argentine. He expressed his confidence in Parliamentarians from both countries to forge better understanding and vibrant people to people contacts. He stressed on the need for strengthening Pak-Argentine Friendship Group for robust bilateral relations.
He complimented the Ambassador for taking the relations between two countries to new heights during his tenure as Ambassador. He was confident that the incoming diplomatic representative of his country would continue to strengthen the relations between both the countries.
The Ambassador of Argentine Mr. Rodolfo J. Martin-Saravia said that Argentine considers Pakistan its closest friend and economic partner. He also endorsed the urgent need for diversification of trade and economic relations and urged for greater exchanges of delegations to cement bilateral relations.
He expressed his gratitude to Speaker for his views and said that during his stay in Pakistan, he has found Pakistanis friendly, peace-loving and resilient who have withstood the test of time. He presented his book “Bonds friendship between Argentine and Pakistan” to the Speaker.
