Islamabad: 28th April 2022; Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf has said that the constitution of Pakistan ensures all fundamental rights to all its denizens irrespective of caste, creed and religion. He said that our religion Islam also stresses upon dignity of humans. He said that the provision of all basic education, health and other facilities. He expressed these views during a meeting with a delegation of Minorities across the country led by MPA Anthony Naveed  from Sindh in Parliament House today.

Speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf has said that the very word Minority is against the dignity of all Pakistanis who are contributing to the development of the country. He said that Mohtrama Shaheed Benazir Bhutto was the great proponent of provision of human rights especially to women and rights. He said that legislation is important to ensure provision of fundamental rights to all its citizens including our minorities. He said that this incumbent government would legislate for protecting The rights of minorities.

MPA Anthony Naveed appreciated the opportunity awarded by Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf. The delegation also forwarded proposals to ameliorate the working conditions of minorities and taking legislative measures for them.
