Islamabad: 18th March 2022; The select group of the Pakistan-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Friendship led by Mr. Sadaqat Ali Abbasi is visiting Azerbaijan from March 17-21, 2022. The visit is part of the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations of the National Assembly of Pakistan.

The members of the Parliament of Pakistan will be meeting with the Deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan besides meeting with their counterparts in the Azerbaijani parliament. On the very first of the visit, the Pakistan’s delegation attended the reception in connection with the forthcoming National Day of Pakistan. The event was organised by the Embassy of Pakistan in Baku and attended by members of Parliament of Pakistan and Azerbaijan, members of diplomatic core, members of Pakistani community, students, religious scholars etc. The chief guest of the event was the Minister for the Defence Production of Azerbaijan.

The Pakistan’s Ambassador in Baku shed light on overall excellent relations between Pakistan and Azerbaijan. He also recognised the presence of the Pakistani parliamentarians in the event.
