Deputy Speaker National Assembly Calls On Speaker Grand National Assembly Of Turkey

Islamabad December 9, 2021:According to a message received from Istanbul, Turkey.
 
Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Qasim Khan Suri, who is currently visiting Turkey along with a Parliamentary delegation to participate 16th session of the Parliamentary Union of OIC Member States (PUIC) in Istanbul, Turkey called on the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Mustafa Santop today. Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Qasim Khan Suri, praised Prime Minister Imran Khan and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's efforts to stop the rise of Islamophobia in Western societies. The issues facing the Muslim Ummah were discussed during the meeting. The two delegations also condemned Indian and Israeli atrocities on Muslims in Kashmir and Palestine.

During the meeting, the delegations also discussed bilateral relations and the security situation in the region. The meeting also agreed to further enhance trade between the two brotherly countries. Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Qasim Khan Suri invited the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Mustafa Santop to visit Pakistan. The Pakistani delegation includes Senator Syed Muzaffar Hussain Shah, Pakistan's Ambassador to Turkey and Muhammad Sajjad Qazi.
