Islamabad, Wednesday, 25th September, 2019:  The Parliamentary Committee on CPEC, met here today (in-camera), at Parliament House, Islamabad under the Chairmanship of Mr. Sher Ali Arbab, MNA and briefed by the Secretary, Communications and Chairman, NHA on CPEC road projects.

The Parliamentary Committee on CPEC Reviews the Progress and Implementation Status of Ongoing CPEC Projects.

Islamabad, Tuesday, 24th September, 2019:  The Parliamentary Committee on CPEC, met here today (in-camera), at Conference Room, Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services (PIPS), Islamabad under the Chairmanship of Mr. Sher Ali Arbab, MNA  to discuss the progress of ongoing projects of CPEC as well as implementation status of the previous recommendations of the Committee.

Islamabad, Thursday, 5th September, 2019:  The Parliamentary Committee on CPEC, met here today (in-camera), at the Parliament House under the Chairmanship of Mr. Sher Ali Arbab, MNA to review the implementation status of the recommendations of the Committee given during the last meeting. Moreover, an exhausted agenda was also discussed in order to evaluate the feasibilities of different proposals and projects connected to CPEC being a well thought scheme to take the country out of crises by developing SEZ’s to work as engine of economic growth and progress.

Parliamentary Committee on CPEC Review the Progress of SEZs

Islamabad, Thursday, the July 11, 2019:  The Parliamentary Committee on CPEC, met here today (in-camera), at the Parliament House under the Chairmanship of Mr. Sher Ali Arbab, MNA. The Committee was briefed by the Secretary M/o Planning Development and Reforms regarding the overall progress and recommendations made by the Committee in its last meeting. Moreover, the respective Secretaries of the Provinces also briefed the Committee about the SEZs included in the early harvest programme of the CPEC.

Islamabad, June 13, 2019:  The Parliamentary Committee on CPEC, met here today, at the Parliament House under the Chairmanship of Mr. Sher Ali Arbab, MNA. The Committee was briefed by the Ministries like National Food Security and Research, Commerce and Textile, Board of Investment and the lead Ministry of Planning Development and Reforms.

Islamabad, 16th April, 2019; Meeting for the election of the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) was held on 16th April, 2019 at 03:00 p.m in Committee Room No. 2 (First Floor), Parliament House, Islamabad.

2.     The meeting commenced with the recitation from Holy Quran. The Special Secretary, National Assembly Secretariat, welcomed the Hon. Members and briefed them about the agenda and procedure for election of Chairman.
