Islamabad, November 23, 2021: Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri said that artificial intelligence has become a reality and at present all the businesses in the world are taking full advantage of this technology. He said that Development in the world at the moment depends on how quickly a nation adapts to the changes taking place in the world. He expressed these views while addressing a seminar on "Artificial Intelligence: a Reality in the World Today" at Pir Mehr Ali Shah Aird Agriculture University, Rawalpindi today.

Deputy Speaker said that the Pakistani nation is one of the most intelligent nations in the world and our youth have proved their mettle all over the world. He said that more than 50% of our population consists of youth. The challenges facing the country can be overcome by providing better facilities and modern knowledge to our youth.

He said that by adopting artificial intelligence, China has set a new example of development and prosperity. He said that more than 600,000 unqualified persons were removed from the list of deserving people through these low support programs using the same technology. He said that these initiatives of the government were appreciated all over the world.
He  congratulated the Vice Chancellor Pir Mehr Ali Shah Aird Agriculture University Dr. Qamar Al-Zaman and other members of his team (PAMS) on the Silver Jubilee of Aird Agriculture University and appreciated the organization of seminar on the important topic of Artificial Intelligence. He assured all possible cooperation from his side for the promotion of artificial intelligence. Speaking on the occasion, other speakers highlighted the importance and usefulness of artificial intelligence and said that it was important to acquaint the youth with this technology for development.
