Islamabad; April 12, 2021: Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser and Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri have expressed their deep sorrow and grief over the demise of Human Rights Activist and journalist Ibn Abdur Rehman.

In their separate condolence messages, the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker conveyed their heartfelt grief to the family of IA Rehman. Recognizing his efforts for Pakistan and its people, they said that IA Rehman rendered valuable contributions and tireless efforts for protection of human rights and the freedom of the press in the country. He said that his services will be remembered for a long time to come.

They prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant strength and courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with equanimity.
