Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser, and Acting Speaker Qasim Khan Suri, have condoled the sad demise of Pakistan’s first female TV host Kanwal Naseer.

In their separate condolence messages the Speaker and Acting Speaker expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Pakistan's Radio & Television veteran anchor and newscaster Kanwal Naseer.

They said that the legendary Kanwal Naseer has the honor of serving as the first female anchor, first female newscaster, and first female announcer of Pakistan Television. They termed her demise as the great loss to Television industry. They said she will be always remembered for her immense talent and contributions to Pakistan Television.

They prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear the loss.
