Saudi Shura Council Delegation to arrive in Pakistan on a 3-Day Visit on 4th December, 2019

Islamabad; December 3, 2019: A delegation led by Dr. Abdullah Bin Mohammed Al- Sheikh, Chairman of the Shura Council of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will arrive on a 3-day official visit to Pakistan on Wednesday i.e. 4th Dec, 2019. The Saudi Parliamentary delegation is visiting Pakistan on the invitation of the Speaker National Assembly of Pakistan Asad Qaiser as an initiative for promotion of cordial relations and bilateral parliamentary exchanges with friendly countries through parliamentary diplomacy.

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy brotherly relations and the same transcends to the legislatures of the both the countries. The legislatures of both the countries have commonalities of views and have supported each other on international and regional parliamentary forums. The upcoming visit is being considered to be of great significance and is expected to pave new pathways and strengthen the brotherly relations between the two countries. The instant visit of the Saudi parliamentarians would also provide an opportunity to their Pakistani counterparts for highlighting the plight of Kashmiris in result of Indian atrocities and muster support for resolution of Kashmir issue in accordance with the international commitment.

The delegation beside, calling on Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser, will also meet with the President of Pakistan, Prime Minister, Chairman Senate, Federal Ministers and their Pakistani counterparts. The matters pertaining to mutual cooperation in trade, economy, energy and other diverse sectors will be discussed.
