These directions were passed by the Standing Committee on Government Assurances during its meeting held in Parliament House. The meeting was chaired by Chairman Standing Committee Malik Muhammad Amir Dogar. The meeting was informed that under Green Pakistan Programme (ten billion tree Tsunami Programme) ten billion trees would be planted or regenerated throughout the country with the cost of 125 billion rupees. The Standing Committee took notice of non-appointment of Director General of Federal Directorate of Education and directed Ministry of Education to send a penal of suitable candidates to Establishment Division on or before 1st October 2019 so that a full time Director General may be appointed against the vacant position.
