The National Assembly Session has been prorogued on Monday, the 15th April, 2024 | In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 54 read with clause (3) of Article 56 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the President has been pleased to summon both Houses to assemble together in the Parliament House, Islamabad on Thursday, the 18th April, 2024 at 4:00 p.m.

10th Session Of The National Assembly To Continue Till 31st May: Decides NA Business Advisory Committee

Islamabad; May 24, 2019: The House Business Advisory Committee of the National Assembly met in Parliament House, today with Speaker Asad Qaiser in the Chair to discuss the business for the 10th Session of the National Assembly.

The agenda and ways and means to run the proceedings of the 10th session of the National Assembly were discussed. After taking into account the suggestion of the representatives of the Parliamentary Parties, it was decided that the current Session would continue till 31st May, 2019. It was further decided that apart from legislative business, Questions; Calling Attention Notices and matters of public importance would be discussed. 

The meeting was attended by the Ministers; Dr. Shireen M. Mazari, Mr. Ijaz Ahmed Shah, Mr. Azam Khan Swati, Minister of State Mr. Ali Muhammad Khan, MNAs; Mr. Asad Umar, Sardar Nasrullah Khan Dreshak, Mr. Khalid Hussain Magsi, Ms. Rubina Irfan, Mr. Muhammad Aslam Bhoottani, Agha Hassan Baloch, Rana Tanveer Hussain, Syed Naveed Qamar, Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah and Mr. Abdul Wasay.
