A meeting of the Standing Committee on Climate Change was held on 4th December, 2017 in Committee Room of Ministry of Climate Change, Islamabad.

The Standing Committee discussed the issue regarding the implementation status of Climate Change Act, 2017 and suggested that the issue must be followed on priority basis.

The Standing Committee also discussed the measures being taken to improve air quality of Pakistan and recommended that the money regarding fine should be increased on those who are not abiding laws regarding to keep the the air quality of Pakistan. The Committee further suggested that hybrid and electric cars should be tax free.
